1. Acceptance

By using QuikTax, you agree to these Terms of Service and to any additional policies linked from this site or made available in the app.

2. Service scope

QuikTax provides software tools to help self-employed workers and sole traders record finances, review records, estimate tax positions, and organise supporting information.

3. No professional advice

QuikTax is not regulated financial, legal or tax advice. You remain responsible for the accuracy of your records, the decisions you make from them, and any submissions or payments required by HMRC.

4. Account responsibility

You are responsible for keeping your account credentials secure and for activity carried out under your account unless the issue is caused by our own failure.

5. Data accuracy

You are responsible for reviewing and correcting any information entered manually or suggested by app features, including receipt scanning and calculated outputs.

6. HMRC integrations

Where QuikTax connects with HMRC services, those features depend on external APIs, user eligibility and valid authorisation. Availability, latency and errors from HMRC systems are outside our direct control.

7. Availability

We aim to provide a stable and reliable service, but we do not promise uninterrupted availability, permanent feature continuity or error-free operation at all times.

8. Acceptable use

You must not misuse QuikTax, attempt unauthorised access, interfere with the service, or use the product for unlawful, fraudulent or abusive activity.

9. Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, QuikTax excludes indirect and consequential loss. Nothing in these terms excludes liability that cannot legally be excluded.

10. Termination

We may suspend or terminate access where reasonably necessary for security, abuse prevention, breach of these terms or legal compliance. You may stop using QuikTax at any time.

11. Changes to terms

We may revise these terms as the product evolves. The latest version will always be published here with an updated revision date.

12. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales.
